I have a marriage in Mar.1851 in the Register Office Hereford between John HORMBREY & Elizabeth JONES the Daughter of John Jones (Farmer) A John Hormbrey is shown as working for Thomas Jones. He is shown as being 2 years older and still single.?? Also shown as being born in Clehonger. No trace of any HORMBREYS or like name in the PRS for Clehonger. The name has been changed constantly from Hormbrey--Hornbrey--Hanbury Embrey. I do have John HORMBREY as having died in Orcop (PRs) 1870. Any suggestions as to the location of ELIZABETH HORMBREY in 1851.? Or her Father John Jones.? I think that Elizabeth was born in Little Dewchurch. Here is hoping. TYIA. Fred Andrews.
