I have the birth certificate for my great-grandmother, Susanna PRICE, born March l847 at Weobley however have not been able to locate a baptism for her. Her parents were Charles and Susanna. Charles' occupation was sawyer. A couple of years later (ca 1849-50), Charles and Susanna had a son, William, who was also born in Weobley but was not baptised there. By l85l the family were living at Bredwardine and eventually they moved to Lyonshall. Four later sons were all baptised at Lyonshall and an earlier daughter, Jane, was baptised at Kings Pyon in l842 so I am sure Susannah and William will have been baptised somewhere. If anyone comes across these missing baptisms in their ancestral travels I should be delighted to hear of them. Best wishes Diane Johansen Researching PRICE Weobley, Dilwyn, Lyonshall
Hello list, I was wandering if SKS has access to 1841 and 1851 census and can see above family, both born c 1791 in Madley area of Hereford Thanks heaps Vicki
Does anybody have reasonable access to the parish register details for Dilwyn? I have the birth certificate for Edmund Richards, the son of John Richards and Mary Ann Godsall, born 1851 in Dilwyn. There is only one possible marriage of John Richards and Mary Ann Godsall in the IGI but the date is 10 February 1824, which would appear to be a decade too early - their first child was baptised in 1835. In addition, I cannot find a Mary Ann Godsall baptised in Dilwyn who could be the likely bride if the date is ineed 1824. I am wondering whether this could possibly be a transcription error and if anyone could check the original entry I would be most grateful. Ruth Henriegel

Hi List I wonder if anyone can help me to try and get a bit closer to tracking down the elusive Charles Farr b. circa 1827 please. I have been trying to link the Farrs of Glasbury and Clodock for some time (with no success) and would like to find out if there is a link bwteeen the two places via families Has anyone got any links in their tree between Clodock/Longtown and Worcester at all? It isn't too far so is a possibility but I cannot find one! And also any sign of Charles? Charles was transported in the late 1840s and I think that his parents may have moved to London as I cannot find any record of them being buried locally. Worked as a paper stainer in Middlesex with his brother James and later as a house decorator. One daughter Mary Ann Ballard 1845-94. Thomas died at Chiswick in 1894 at the age of 93. Thomas had various siblings some of whom were baptised at Fownhope in the 1790s. Other siblings include Richard, Frederick, Charles. All baptised at Dymock. It is possible that Thomas' father John Ballard married Ann Skipp - connected to the Ledbury family? Any Ballard information from Herefordshire gratefully received. Thanks Bob Parsons Shropshire
Hi Phil My thanks to you and Heather for all the work you put in to make this such a success. I was on the GOONS stand, and despite having at least three helpers and sometimes four behind our stand we were so busy all day that I never did get to visit the other building (sorry Ron & Carol!), and the stalls in the same building as ours only got a quick glance on my way to the coffee shop/loo. It was great to meet people and put "faces to names"! Well done! Hi everyone I haven't been on one of these lists for years. But have now got the time to continue my research. I am particularly interested in the ADAMS family in the village of Staunton on Arrow and in particular the census records for 1851 1861 and 1871 would anyone have these and be willing to check for any households with an ADAMS in it. I would be very grateful. Many Thanks Alan
