My Great GrandFather Ernest Leonard Powell , b: in 1873 in Herfordshire England and registered in Presteigne Radnorshire Wales? and married Mary Vale James in Oct. 1898 , she was born in 1871. Her parents where George James and Ellen Arnold . Ernest Leonard was the son of John Powell and Sarah Anne Jones. They apparently had no children because their nephew Thomas WELLINGS (my 3ggrandfather) inherited a large sum of money and lived in the large home after her death. I have a copy of her will which mentions other Longmores and also have a copy of the will of Edward LONGMORE of Adforton in the parish of Leintwardine. I don't have time to read through all these things tonight, but if they are the ones you are interested in I can send you copies of the wills. I also have a copy of Mary Longmore and William Wellings' marriage entry in the parish book as well as the burial entries for Mary Longmore and Edward Longmore.
