Hi All The virus which you may have recently received may have come via my own computer even though I updated my virus definitions on Monday evening on return from a short holiday! It has taken the best part of two hours to make my machine virus free as one of the insidious things this virus does is to disable the virus checker. As it has its own SMTP engine you won't see the infected messages being sent they will just go out whenever you are on line. Just to be doubly safe - when you delete infected messages use the key combination Shift+Delete and not Caps Lock+Delete -- Best regards, Peter McNulty peter@sparshott.org.uk www.sparshott.org.uk ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Goff" <peter.goff@btinternet.com> To: <ENG-HAMPSHIRE-KINGSCLERE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, October 01, 2002 7:24 PM Subject: Another virus > Hello All > > Just had a web site sparshot.org.uk send me an email subject THE POT which had an attachment with a virus.
