Can someone tell us just where these were please. I think it would be useful to add to the list of buildings from Margaret Ingram's book which is on the Kingsclere website. This covers the 'important' buildings but not some of the artisan type dwellings. Those of us who had the good fortune to have the conducted tour of Kingsclere by Peter Goff a few Sundays back now have a pretty good idea of where lots of these were but other listers may not have such a good picture of 'clere in their minds. --- John Lewis <jayellatntlworlddotcom> from Bournemouth, Dorset, UK. using Debian GNU/Linux and GeneWeb genealogy software Main Family Names in HAM are: Kingsclere: BUTLER, COOPER, FISHER, FOSTER, GIRDLER, HAWKINS, SMITH Hazeley Heath: BARKER, CHANDLER, LEWINGTON, NEVILL(E) Main Family Names in GLA are: GRIFFITH, HOPKINS, JENKINS, LEWIS.
