    3. Hello Barbara, You made me search the IGI for John Dry who married Miriam Miles. Berkshire didn't have any, but for Hampshire there were these :- JOHN DRY Male Marriages: Spouse: MIRIAM MILES Family Marriage: 14 OCT 1826 Kingsclere, Hampshire, England Children:- 1. MARY ANN DRY - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 02 MAY 1830 Kingsclere, Hampshire, England 2. ELIZA DRYE - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 26 AUG 1827 Kingsclere, Hampshire, England 3. ELIZABETH DRY - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 01 FEB 1832 Kingsclere, Hampshire, England 4. Elizabeth is definitely too old. regards, Carol ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Mallyon" <BarbaraMallyon@lewmal.co.uk> To: <ENG-HAMPSHIRE-KINGSCLERE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 18, 2002 10:48 PM Subject: The surname of DRY > Hello researchers of the surname of DRY, > > I have found the following entry in my files:- > > 1841 Census for St. Giles, Reading, Berkshire, (on the boarders of Hampshire) > address Pink Court. > > John DRY age 50 Ag Lab > Elizabeth age 15 > John age 12 > Thomas age 10 > James age 19 all born in Reading > > They are the neighbours of my 4 x great grandparents Thomas LAWRENCE and Sarah > VIVASH. 3. Hello Carol, You are a good girl doing lookups for Kingsclere, and you are correct, when you said on the Hampshire rootsweb, " Every one is part of one great big family tree". As John Lewis family tree puzzle shows, we are all linking into each others family tree, so if anyone has hit a brick wall, or wants information about anyone else's family tree, or cannot get any further with their own family tree, please ask on the List. John has got so much information that he can pass on, and he would like to link this information to in our family trees.
