Hello All Ann Sargeant sent me a transcription of the Lay Subsidy Rolls of 1586 and the Hearth Tax Assessment of 1665 for Kingsclere. I have now put these on the Kingsclere web site www.kingsclere.org.uk I converted the Lay Subsidy Rolls from Ann's file to HTML by using Word. Unfortunately the columns do not lineup perfectly. Any 'experts' out there who can suggest an easy solution without having to re-type the whole thing into a table.
