Hello List, First of all, I wonder if it should be Elliott of Ecchenswell? I am working from the 1881 C.R. as issued by L.D.S., and all dates of birth are arrived at from that C.R. Is anyone researching the Elliott family of Ecchinswell? If so, can they give me any "gen" on James Elliott (born 1834), his wife Alice (1850), William (1856), James (1868), Edith (1879), Arthur (1881). Another daughter, Mary Ann Elliott, was born in 1858, but was "in service" in Hampstead in 1881. James Elliott was my wife's great-grandfather and Mary Ann her grandmother. Any information regarding this family would be appreciated. Did James Elliott marry twice? One more question: Where is Itchingswell?
