Hi Listers, I am looking for information on Proutens/Prouton/Prouting (and a few more spellings of it !) Most of my direct family are from the Wootton St Lawrence area, but as Kingsclere is so near I thought there may be a trace of them there. Main person is David S/O (born 1822) John & Rachael AKA Phoebe Weston. John & Rachael had 8 Children William,James,Charles,Joseph,John,George,Jane & David. I have quite a lot of information on the other children that has been passed to me. I have been to the HRO on a number of times, but I have been unable to locate Davids birth/baptism records and his marriage certificate to Louisa Digweed..
