    1. Thomas HUNT and son Reuben
    2. Nancy Hoffmann
    3. Hello - I'm a new lister. I've been told that there are several HUNT researchers on this list. I'm seeking information about my GGGF and his eldest son, Reuben, who lived to young manhood at least. They have led me a merry dance across several Counties and now here I am in yours ;-) My GGGF Thomas HUNT, a widower of Pendock, Worcs married Ann (Nancy) WELDING or WILDING of Redmarley d'Abitot, Worcs in Pendock in Feb 1819. I cannot find any trace of an earlier marriage, and wonder if he came from a different county - there is no record of HUNTs in Pendock. According to family anecdote, Thomas was cousin to the Earl of Somerset and was cut off by his family when he married a maid or governess. I have not idea whether this story is true or not. Thomas and Nancy had 5 children: Reuben - another mystery man - probably b. ca 1820-24. He may have had a son Aubrey. Elizabeth b. 1825 in Reading - went to Aust. Emma b. 1830 in Reading - m. Joseph WAUGH Mary Ann b. 1831 in Reading - m. BOSHIER, later went to aust. Edwin b. 1837 - my GGF - b. 1837 in Reading - m. Margaret MORGAN and took family to Aust. Do any of these names sound familiar? Nancy Hoffmann Christchurch NZ formerly Sydney and Brisbane AU.
