Hello Pat, Carol and All, There are 3 Miles family tree lines in Kingsclere. From the beginning as I know it, I had a MILES family tree with Joseph MILES married to Martha BRIDGMAN 20 September 1780 Kingsclere. My gg grandmother is Sarah Jane MILES born 1st February 1846 Newbury, Berkshire, from the age of 2 years when her mother died she lived in Kingsclere, with the her Auntie Mary nee MILES and Thomas SEYMOUR . Then I found a 2nd MILES family tree with Benjamin MILES born 1801 married to Sarah LEE this tree belonged to a Dorothy BOWMAN, Newent, Gloucestershire. Dorothy was in contact with Hazel SILVERLOCK in Australia, who had the 3rd MILES family tree, William MILES married to Mary WITHERS married 1783. Since the Kingsclere List has been started, these MILES families seem to link into most Listers family trees. Please be check and be careful with your MILES family trees, a lot of the same Christian names are used in all 3 MILES family trees. Is it your Charles that married ???or is it mine, both born at almost the same time. If anyone can find the link between all 3 family trees, I would love to hear from you.
