I'd like to say a big thank you to all in Kingsclere who made today such an enjoyable experience. For me is was great to meet for the very first time people I am probably related to. In one instance I was showing someone with Hunt connections some of my family photos and he said 'I think I have those same photos at home' It looks as though he could be a grandson of the Samuel Hunt who married my great Aunt Sarah Ann Cooper late in life after his first wife died. In another the people were linked to the Smith family into which my Gt Aunt Alice, wife of Seth Cooper, was born. Even my wife had an interesting day as she met someone she has coresponded with for some time about her Dorset connections.
