Hello All, A new virus has appeared today. It appears to be spreading quickly so I am posting this warning. The virus is W32/Bugbear-A Preliminary description at: http://www.sophos.com/virusinfo/analyses/w32bugbeara.html and other vendor sites It was identified today, so you will need to have the *very latest* virus identities/library from your anti-virus software vendor. The infected messages look very genuine. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN ANY ATTACHMENTS, unless the sender has asked you first if they may send the attachment to you, even if they are a relation, they may have the Virus, you are in their address book. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY ATTACHMENTS, unless the person to whom it is are going says it is OK to send it. Make sure that you have Anti-Virus software, if you have not got Anti-Virus protection, there is a free programme available until you get a proper Anti-Virus system installed, try www.grisoft.com . Most important, please do a weekly BACKUP this could save your family tree and other files. Take care of your computer, it does a good job for you.
