Hello list, I am new to this list so I'd better start by stating my interests. They are HOCKLEY & PROUT up to 1915. I have been in touch with Steve Prout and as soon as his pc is back in order he will help me with the PROUT side . I would be very interested to hear from anyone with HOCKLEY connections. Can anyone tell me of the resources available for Kingsclere & Kingsclere Woodlands, books, fiche, cds etc and where I can buy them. I live in France so I can't pop down to the shops and have a look myself. Any help or advice will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance, Ian DURHAM
Hi Ian, I have 1851 census and Bishop's Transcripts for Kingsclere, if you tell me some names and dates, I'll try to help.
