Hello Jennifer and All, Before this message gets deleted, I have posted it on Kingsclere, it may give someone the information that they have been looking for. There are several researchers looking into the BRADLEY/BRIDGMAN part of their family tree. Quote I don't know what time scale you are looking at for Eliza. We found a tiny cutting in an aunt's scrapbook as follows: "E.(Bertha)Bradley died January 26th 1909 on a ship from Sydney to Durban,Natal. She was buried at sea off Albany." The E stood for Eliza & I got a copy of her death at sea from the PRO.It is unfortunately where I can't get at it at the minute but I remember she was in her 40s when she died. She had occupation as housekeeper & her last address was in Sidney, she was on her way home to the UK when she died. Hello Barbara, I got so carried away thinking that I was going to find exactly where the died at sea one fitted,I forgot Richard's daughter.A VERY senior moment! Eliza's brother William,bp.7 Feb 1836,is my direct line.Did you know that Richard was bp.17 Jan 1790 at Frilsham parish church,Berks, son of John BRADLEY & Mary POWEL? I have got Eliza;s bp.13 Apr 1823 but you could well know better.I didn't know her marriage Thank you. Best wishes Jennifer Thornton jthornton@ntlworld.com
