Hello All, Sent: 21 November 2002 23:38 1901 census now on-line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week We have been advised by the PRO that they have now completed their series of phased increases in access to the 1901 website, by extending it from 20 hours each day to 24 hours each day Their latest announcement dated 21st November states: "The 1901 Census website is now available online seven days a week and 24 hours a day. The Public Record Office and QinetiQ would like to thank everyone who has used the 1901 Online service during the test phase. You have provided us with valuable feedback. Over the next few months we will continue to monitor site usage while we evaluate the feedback and suggestions for enhancements to the service. So please keep giving us your feedback. We would prefer you to do this by using the online forms, which you can access as part of the 1901 Online Service (click on 'Contact Us' on the left-hand menu bar).
