Hello All, Do you know that Kingsclere in the Parish of St. Mary's, Overton Road, there as was a Racing Stable, this has been shown on the 1901 Census, there are Stable Boys born in different towns, Licensed Jockeys, Apprentices, Grooms. The Race Horse Trainer was John Porter he lived at the Stables with his wife and children, there are general Servants. Can anyone tell us did the Stables ever win any big races ?
