John, According to my notes, two separate marriage registers were started in the 1840s/1850s: Ecchinswell from 1844. Register still held in the parish. Sydmonton from 1854. Register held at Hampshire Record Office. The information abouth the Ecchinswell register came from the PRRM Inspection File. This file lists documents held in each parish, as noted in the periodic inspections conducted under the Parochial Registers and Records Measure.
