I cannot check to see if he married Myra Elizabeth as I am waiting for the fiche containing marriages of that period from RO. Daniel and Ann were living in The Dell. They married at St. Paul, Woodlands on 10 Oct 1858 and had seven children. Daniel's father was a William Smith and therein lies the problem - just too many William Smiths to be able to decide which one at the moment. One of my reason for going to RO today was to collect Smith baptisms from the transcripts of the early parish rgisters which are very hard to read in fiche format. Myra Elizabeth Aldridge was baptised at St. Mary, Kingsclere on 13 Oct 1867 (margin note has her born Aug 19th) to Alfred and Mary Ann (Simpson). Alfred and Mary Ann were married at St. Mary 23 Aug 1866 and seem to have had only one other child Kate bapt. 21 Mar 1869. Alfred was born in Workhouse Lane, Kingsclere on 18 May 1840, bapt. St. Mary on 26 Jul 1840 to Henry and Mary Ann (Girdler) Mary Ann Simpson is likely to be Mary bapt 30 Aug 1846 to Charles and Louisa (Poulter) Hope this helps.
