    3. Hello all Has anyone lost a John GRIGG born around 1791, whilst reading through a book on Ruislip, Middlesex I have found a reference to him as originating from Wolverton. He was apparently connected with the church in Ruislip for nearly 40 years, as parish clerk, assistant overseer and church warden; he died in 1868. If anyone wants more details of what is in the book please let me know. Regards Colin Harris --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). I have the following Grigg entries for Kingsclere St. Mary Ann ca 1769-1827 married 26 Dec 1789 to Robert Stevens ca 1767, witnesses: Stephen & Mary Grigg. Ann born Ecchinswell Elizabeth married 28 Nov 1791 to Jeoffrey Webb, witness: Mary Grigg Mary married 16 May 1793 to John Blackman, witnesses: John Grigg and Elizabeth Webb Stephen married 9 Sep 1793 to Hannah White, witnesses: Mary Walker? & E??? Jacob? (almost unreadable). Stephen was of Wolverton. Although Ann was 'of Ecchinswell' at marriage and baptised there there seems to be a link with Stephen, Elizabeth and Mary with them being witnesses at each others weddings. The only John here, as a witness, could be the father of the John at Ruislip. -- John Lewis <jayellatntlworlddotcom> from Bournemouth, Dorset, UK. using Debian GNU/Linux and GeneWeb genealogy software
