    3. I now have a little more on the Savery family John Savery married Rebecca Emmans at St. Mary, Kingsclere on 28 Oct 1835. Witnesses were Thomas Savery and R??mons Emmans. I really cannot make out what the first name of second witness might be but it 'looks' like what I have typed above. Their daughter Ann Rebecca was born in Kingsclere Dell and baptised at St. Mary on 8 Mar 187. I cannot find a baptism for Rebecca Emmans, I thought she would be a dau of William Immens or Emans and Elizabeth Bunce who married at St. Mary on 17 Oct 1807, but the only children I can find for them are Mary Ann ca 1808, Betsy ca 1811 and William ca 1813. I have checked Kingsclere baptisms to 1825 but no sign of Rebecca so was she born/baptised elsewhere? I cannot find a burial for her in Kingsclere either. Elizabeth Bunce is probably the daughter of Henry and Mary Excell who married at St. Mary on 11 Oct 1776, witnesses Henry Bunce and John Fulker. I have found 6 children for this couple including an Elizabeth bapt. on 25 May 1788. One of the witnesses was a Henry Bunce. Elizabeth had an older brother Henry as well as father Henry so it seems probable it was this Elizabeth who married this William Emmans. I am still a bit uncertain who the parents of the James who married Ann Edwards are. Nor am I certain about their children. I have Joseph born about 1822 and married to Hannah Goddard in 1842, Ann Edwards born about 1823 and married to George Buckeridge in 1848 and Henry born about 1826 at North Oakley (North Oakley Cottages??) according to 1851 census. He married Mary Ann Poole in 1852 and Louisa Butler in 1888. I have Mary Ann buried on 29 Jan 1887 when she was 75 years of age which makes her a lot older than Henry. She would have been 40 when she married Henry to his 26. -- John Lewis <jayellatntlworlddotcom> from Bournemouth, Dorset, UK. using Debian GNU/Linux and GeneWeb genealogy software
