This is really for Jenny Beaumont but I don't seem to have her email address but also for any Miles researcher. Jenny is interested in Charlotte Miles whose parents were Mathew and Hannah. What I misssed from my earlier email is that the 1851 census has him age 50. I hadn't previously found a suitable Mathew born in Kingsclere but this is an earlier dob than I had before and makes it possible he was actually born a couple of years earlier still and was the son of William Miles and Mary Withers and baptised at St. Mary on 20 May 1798.
