Hello list I am hoping someone may be able to help me with some local geography. On all documentation I had seen, my grandfathers (William Charles Browning) birthplace in 1889 was always given as Thatcham, but recently I have come across two documents where he has given his birthplace as what appears to be, Calthreyn - Berkshire. I have not been able to find this village or settlement on any map. Could someone tell me if the place still exists, and where it is or was ?
