    3. Hi Debbie, This is the entry in the Kingsclere Baptisms. Walter son of Jeremiah and Martha TIDBURY of Wandsworth, Surrey sojourning at North Street, Kingclere. Occupation labourer. Date Monday the Whitsun week June 9 1862 There was no Baptism listed around the above date, for Walter TIDBURY age 27 father Frederick TIDBURY Labourer Regards Barbara Mallyon Basingstoke, Hants, UK BarbaraMallyon@lewmal.co.uk ----- Original Message ----- From: DEBBIEKENNETT@aol.com To: jayell@ntlworld.com Cc: BarbaraMallyon@lewmal.co.uk Sent: Monday, July 07, 2003 10:20 PM Subject: Walter Tidbury John It now appears that the Walter Tidbury who married Eliza Druce was not after all the one who was baptised in Kingsclere in 1862 to Jeremiah and Martha. There must have been two Walters born around the same time. I received the following e-mail today from the other Tidbury researcher: "I have recently received the Certified Copy of an Entry of marriage for Walter and Eliza. September 17th 1889 Holy Trinity Church Lane End Walter Tidbury age 27 father Frederick Tidbury Labourer Eliza Druce age 20 father George Druce Witnesses James Goodchild & Ellen Hancock It looks like I'm going to have to do more digging!" Best wishes Debbie
