Hello Ian I've also been tracing Rabbits. My link is through my GGM Alice Jane Rabbits, eldest dau. of Josiah (aka Joseph) and Dorcas (nee H*cock). I beleive Josiah was second eldest son of Robert and Eliza and that Robert was the third child of Joseph and Louisa (nee Thatcher) which is back to the end-C18th.
