    3. Hi All, I've recently joined the message board and decided to post my interests. My 5xgreat grandfather Henry ROBBINS married a Mary WOOLFORD in Woolhampton, Berkshire in 1771.In the marriage entry it states that Henry is from Kingsclere,Hampshire. He was born around 1747. Is there anyone who may have any knowledge or interest in the Robbins or is able to look up for Henry's birth? Any information would be greatly appreciated. All the Best Stuart Gennery

Hello Stuart I can see no entry for Robins in St. Mary. Kingsclere registers around this period. There are later Robbins entries, from about 1770ish and from the 1851 census entries there seem to be links to Brimpton, Berks. There are no records for Brimpton on the IGI but looking at Thatcham there was a Henery Robings bapt. 20 Mar 1746 to John & Sarah Robings. This fits the approx date of birth you gave. The entries I mentioned earlier are for a William & Susannah Robbins. A burial entry for what is probably this William in 1826 puts his dob about 1742. There is an entry in Thatcham for a William bapt 28 Nov 1742 to John & Sarah Robings so likely to be a brother to Henery. Henry & Mary Robins baptised Mary on 9 May 1773 John on 11 Jul 1774, and Catherine on 21 Jun 1789 so these could be children of your Henry & Mary A _possible_ tree for this family is: Henery Robbings &1729 Mary Butler 1.
