Hello List, I haven't been following this thread so I apologise if this irrelevant. While going through the PRs for Barnsley, Gloucestershire, I came upon the following entry for a marriage : Matthew MILES of Chedworth & Anna TOWNSEND of Barnsley married by banns 19 June 1797. Both made their marks. Please let me know if this is of use as I am going through all of the fiche at the moment, some of which are unreadable. Regards, Ian in France
