I spotted the following people when I was going through the Greenham Burial Registers at the Berkshire Record Office today. I thought they might be of interest to some of you. I seem to remember someone posting an enquiry about Church Brownjohn quite recently. Burials in the Chapelry of Greenham 1852 Jan 16th James Alexander, Ecchinswell Hants, age 42 years 1854 Sept 16th Church Brownjohn, Greenham Common age 89 years 1862 July 5th Benjamin Aplin, Kingsclere 65 years He died [illegible] by in Greenham parish Thursday July 3rd Coincidentally, the name Aplin appears in my husband's family in Nettlecombe, Somerset. (One of our Kennetts married an Aplin.) I don't suppose there's any connection but I would be interested to hear from any other Aplin researchers. Best wishes Debbie
