One of the Chedworth films has arrived and I've been to look at it today. Banns and marriages from 1754 to 1954, burials from 1811-66. I've checked through to 1900 as I didn't see any point in going any further. I'll post the MILES/MILLS entries and see what you can make of them & I'll do the same with the second film when it arrives. There is a high proportion of partners from other parishes (an average of at least one per page in the earlier years), some from Wiltshire, Warwickshire, Berkshire & Glamorgan. I have a little more information on some of the marriages (whether signed or marked, witnesses, fathers, etc). Burials are in a separate message. It's quite likely that the MILLS entries could be MILES - the spelling is very erratic even in the later entries.
