I am seeking to contact and exchange family history notes with any descendant or researcher of the family of my cousin, Henry James HULL (1850 - 1905), a farmer in East Woodhay, Hants. Henry James HULL, son of Henry and Sarah HULL, yeoman of East Woodhay, Hants, was baptized there 1850. In 1894, he married his cousin, Mary LAWRENCE, in Inkpen, Berks (BMD ref: Hungerford 2c / 597); Mary was born in Inpken about 1866, baptized there 1866 (I.G.I.), the eldest daughter of Richard LAWRENCE, farmer of Inkpen Manor Farm. In the 1901 census for "The Yews" in East Woodhay, Henry James 50, was living on his own means, with his wife Mary 34, and with their children: Marion 4 and Henry 1. Henry died in Workingham 1905; Mary died in Newtown, Berks, 1929. Henry and Mary had issue: a. Marion HULL, daughter of Henry and Mary HULL, born in East Woodhay, Hants, 1897, birth registered in Kingsclere in Q2 of 1897 (BMD ref: 2c / 227). In Q2 of 1919, in Newbury district (BMD ref: 2c / 818), Marion was married to Frederick Spencer Howard MARLE, a vicar in the Church of England; Fred was born in Okehampton 1887 and died in Deane, Hants, 1968. Marion died in 1989 in Whitchurch, Dorset; Fred and Marion had issue, still living: b. Henry Lawrence HULL, son of Henry and Mary HULL, born in East Woodhay, Hants, 1900, birth registered in Kingsclere in Q2 of 1900 (BMD ref: 2c / 235). Henry was a banker. He married Angelina PONTING about 1934; Henry died 1982 and was cremated in Whiteparish, Wilts; Angelina died 1983; Henry and Angelina had issue, one male and one female, still living. Best wishes.
