    3. Thanks, Barbara. I extracted the issue of Daniel & Sarah HISCOCK from the Kingsclere PRs at the outset of my research but it's not so easy into the 20th Century with all the variant surnames HISCOCK/HITCHCOCK/HEDGECOCK etc having converged into HISCOCK! I just wish I could make contact with any of Daniel & Sarah's descendants who remained 'local'. I am sure there would be much hearsay and memorabilia of interest to me. I've recently obtained notes made by West Sussex Record Office staff of reminiscences of Nora Emily May SPARKES [nee HISCOCK], the second nonagenarian in the family [following Jane FISHER], but sadly there is little mention of family and what there is has been distorted in the passage of time. However, she named her parents Sally HISCOCK and "Fiddler" Daniel, so it seems we had a musician in the family. Shame it never passed down ..... Kind regards.
