A search of the Marriages Index locates a marriage 1Q 1909 between Frederick HISCOCK and Ellen Beatrice COOPER. Sadly, Fred died in action in WW1. In FreeBMD Violet A. HISCOCK born 1Q 1913 Kingsclere 2c 483 is also recorded with mother's maiden name COOPER; as is Ivy B[eatrice] COOPER registered 3Q 1915 Kingsclere 2c 448. There are likely to have been elder children also of the marriage but pre-December 1911 mothers' maiden names are not recorded.
