Hello All, How quickly the months are going, so here is a reminder about the Hampshire Record Office. Hampshire Record Office search room at Sussex Street will close towards the end of 2007 to enable us to merge with Local Studies, formerly in Winchester Library. Work is likely to start in November/December. Our service to the public will not close altogether: a microform service will be provided in a temporary location (almost certainly in the Library HQ building in North Walls after the Reference Library has moved to the new Winchester Discovery Centre) limited access to original documents will be provided at Hampshire Record Office (by appointment only) for legal and other essential purposes.
