Judith I'm afraid there is little likelihood of learning more about this family as I note that at marriage on 25 [not 20] December 1720, Frances TANER [sic] was of the parish of Ashmansworth, and, as you should be aware, the PRs for that parish were destroyed in the village fire of 1811. The East Woodhay PRs are extremely difficult to decipher in the 18th Century and, in any event, the BLAKEs appear to have held copyhold leases of the Manor of Ecchinswell - including a parcel at Boccombe downe - bounding bondland in the Tithing of Ashmansworth. As you are aware that Frances had a son, Thomas TANNER, I assume you already have the details of her 1741 Will enrolled in the Ecchinswell Court Roll of 1776 at his behest?
