I recently received an email giving me information about Dorcas Ellen Hunt born 1910 in Kingsclere, daughter of Alfred John Hunt and Lucy Kate Rolfe. Dorcas married Brinley Treharne in Aldershot in 1934 and the family eventually moved to the Catterick area and have stayed around there ever since. Dorcas' sister Elsie May Hunt who married Percy William Little at St. Mary, Kingclere in 1925 also moved to the same area If you look at Brinley Treharnes ancestors you will see that his grandfather was called Mahershalalhashbaz. This is not a mistake!! It is a biblical name meaning: plunder speedeth; spoil hasteth.
