I have recorded her as Sarah DANCE but Dunce is what the fiche and IGI has. I don't have Newtown registers to know if Dunce was correct. > William MAY of Wolverton yeoman age 21 bachelor and Elizabeth BROWN > of Ewhurst age 21 spinster at E., 12 May 1789 by Licence. I don't have the date other than 1789 as it was a marriage by licence and without the marriage register to confirm it I left it as that. Can you confirm actual date of marriage? > Thomas MAYERS of Baughurst and Ann GREEN of the s., spinster at > Ecchenswell 5 October 1742 by Licence. This one I don't have at all but the marriage entry on fiche PR4/14 has them 'both of Baghurst' and no mention of place of marriage so I'd have assumed St. Mary, Kingsclere and date I read as October 9th. There could be an error in entering the details into the register as the previous couple William Paice and Elizabeth Dent were also 'both of Baghurst' and date recorded as 9th. -- John Lewis Debian (Sid) with the GeneWeb genealogy package
