Ellen is on the freeBMd and you could order the certificate from the General Register Office on line The info is Dec 1873 Hungerford 2c 236 I also checked the 1871 census for Harriet. She is in Shalbourne aged 18 with parents Jason aged 42 and Louiza aged 42. I now believe that she was born Ellen Stout in 1873, mother Harriet Stout born Shalbourne, Wilts.1853. Harriet married Richard Mason in 1874 and Ellen turns up as Ellen Mason in the 1861 census. If anyone has access to the Berkshire record could thy please check for Ellen Stouts birth or baptism in 1873 and for any bastardy bond, plus Harriet's marriage to Richard in 1874.
