Whilst extracting the PIPER burials from the East Woodhay register I encountered this entry: No 401 29 Mar 1833 Solomon ROSE aged 27 Beneath the entry, barely legible, were the words 'killed fighting'. Are any of our ROSE researchers aware of the circumstances? Dorothy J.
