Audrey was one of the first to go to Homerton Collage for ladies in Cambridge in 1924 to 1927, she qualified as a teacher and taught in Rochdale, Lancashire where she was born. Milkstone School now teachers Indian children, how times have changed. Rogers mother and father went to Bournemouth for their Honeymoon, they liked it so much they decided to live there, Audrey taught in Bournemouth until she started her family of 4 children.
