All children born Burghclere. Ellen ? is in fact Matilda Dennis and they married at All Saints Burghclere on 3 Jan 1835. Hants Bap Index adds an Ann born 1837. FreeBMD has Matilda Goddard died Jun Qt 1846 Kingsclere RD so James was free to marry Naomi in 1858. I haven't found a baptism for Naomi in Burghclere BTs and there at least 2 Thomas Smiths having children about this time. I will check to see if she was born after 1812 in the Bapt Index. I also need to look for Matilda Dennis and James Hart's births -- John Lewis Debian (Sid) with the GeneWeb genealogy package
