Good morning John With reference to my earlier e mail I now have tied up the Hungerford Randalls to the Kintbury Randall's going back to John Randall from Hungerford who m Mary Burton. 1st Sept 1748. Have copies of wills that now tie things up. The Hungerford Randall's and some of the early Randalls at Kintbury were Millers . There is a mention of Edlington Mill Hungerford hope I have spelt that correctly Regards Beverley
Hi Beverley, If this was Eddington Mill, Hungerford, then it was a paper mill. A few of my related people worked there at one time or another. The Mill House is now Eddingtons Ltd, just off Eddington Hill. The Francis Frith Collection has a photo taken in abt 1955 of it. Put "Eddington Mill "in your browser and lots of sites come up, if you are interested.
