    3. I have Mary Coteral in my tree, believed born 1718. She married William Jennings of Sherborne St John. I have looked at various records and found Cottrells (and variations of this name) in and around Basingstoke. There are records of Sarah Cottrell buried at Kingsclere 1737, and it is possible she was Mary's sister. Does anyone have any Cottrells from around this time or earlier in their family tree? Pam

    3. Hello Pam.   I have a 4x great-grandmother Sarah COTTERALL, whom I presume to be the Sarah COTTEREL (sic) baptised on 22 June 1734 at Kingsclere with parents Francis & Sarah COTTEREL.  She married Stephen BIRD on 16 November 1755 at St Mary, Kingsclere.  I am aware of other COTTERALL/ COTTERELL/ COTTRELL names in the Kingsclere area around this time, but have no idea how they relate to each other, or to Sarah.   Regards, Mike --- On Mon, 16/11/09, Pam Sykes <pamela@jimandpamsykes.plus.com> wrote: I have Mary Coteral in my tree, believed born 1718 <snipped>.  Does anyone have any Cottrells from around this time or earlier in their family tree?
