Hi Elizabeth Are you certain that all the folk mentioned survived to emigrate? It would assist if some kind soul could check the Hampshire Burials for Bramshott as there are a number of BARTHOL*MEW deaths on FreeBMD in Farnham Registration District [which covers Bramshott]. Also, were their ages recorded on the shipping list? Many enlightened Poor Law Unions helped finance assisted passages in those troubled times, so there could be mention of the family in Poor Law records. Sadly, I've found no trace of this particular family unit in 1841 Bramshott. William's occupation and address for the Bramshott baptisms might provide clues for his likely whereabouts. If an Ag Lab, so many were away from home pursuing seasonal work that summer it's likely to prove very difficult finding them.
