Hello Nigel, Had another look at the Albert Smith's entry, the vicar has definately got Edwin's second name Septis, spelt as Leptis, the "L" has a loop at the bottom, written the same as in the word Labourer, I showed this to Roger and he agrees. The name of the Cottage Whenthold, looking at the microfiche you would have to know the the name was spelt with an "n" rather than an "a".     3. Hello Barbara, Nigel and all Edwin's real name (GRO) and also entered by himself on the census return in 1911 is Edwin Septimus Smith. Edwin was a Labourer at Hill Farm Wheathold Green for many years. A few years ago I was in touch with the wife of one of his Gt.
