Hello I would like to thank everyone who replied with their help on my query regarding Albert Edward GORDON, Sara, Chris and Alan. I received Albert's birth certificate this morning, and he was registered as Albert Edward LUDWIG, (mother's surname) born 22nd March 1882, no father named unfortunately. Thanks to Sara's help and all the information she sent I was able to find Albert's death, aged 93, in 1975, in Bournemouth. His DOB was given so this confirms that I have found the right one. Also because Sara found the names of his wife on the voter's register, I have been able to find his marriage, her surname PEACH was on the IOW BMD register for a Leonard Francis Gordon's birth, their son born in 1911. So I was able to find a PEACH/GORDON marriage in 1906. Plus Leonard's death in 1987 with his full DOB. Last week I didn't know anything about this family and I am so grateful to everyone for their help. Many thanks. Regards Ally (Derby)
