"Bulwark.", Royal Navy who died age 46 on 26 November 1914 Son of the late Thomas and May Gardner, of Soberton, Hants.; husband of Bertha Gardner, of 16, Albert Drive, Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim, late of Hill Pound, Swanmore, nr. Pops Waltham, Hants. Remembered with honour PORTSMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL My confusion arises from the address of Hill Pound, Swanmore, nr Pops Waltham, Hants. I know that Hill Pound, Swanmore is indeed the correct family address for his wife Bertha GARDNER (nee EARWAKER) but would Pops Waltham be an erroneous entry for Bishops Waltham or is Pops Waltham another location entirely?
