Yes they are searchable on 1837.com. There are various sets of army records - chaplains', regimental etc. They say you can pay by credit/debit card or by something called BT Click and pay (don't know about this). Even if you don't have a credit card, look at the information about the site and if needful get somebody to put £5 (the minimum) on for you You can also find army marriages in other places. I found one marriage in my family in 1832 in a site called Malta Family History which I found by trawling with a search engine. Best wishes Alice Clarke
