Hi everyone, I'm attempting to research my GIBBS family. I'm interested in this marriage: Thomas STACY married Elizabeth GIBBS in Romsey, Hampshire on 28 Dec 1771. I suspect that this Elizabeth Gibbs may be the sister of my 3G grandfather James Gibbs. James Gibbs immigrated to Newfoundland before 1800 & then moved to Nova Scotia by 1804.
