Looking for information on a Thomas Arthur COOPER or came to Australia early 1920's and settled near Kerang in Victoria naming his property DUMMUR GRANGE supposedly after his old 'Hampshire Manor House Farm' (quote from a letter dated 1931). Could well be Alison ... what I need to find is a connection to the COOPER family !!! Any suggestions of where to look? Cheers Jennifer
-Hi Jennifer, A2A has details of 2 house sales for Dummer Grange but the name ADAMS is mentioned. You don't say when Thomas was born. The 1881 census gives a Thomas A COOPER aged 2, born Basingstoke, father a labourer. Dummer Grange was a large property. It maybe that the family worked there. Kathryn
