Hi Listers, I found a few baptisms for my WILEY/WHILEY family at ALVERSTOKE on microfiche yesterday and next to one child was the address of 'YORE COMMON' or at least that is what is appeared to be. This would be in 1820 and I wondered, would any lister be able to confirm this is the correct name please? Also would it have been near a Royal Marine Barracks and is the common still there today? I did type it into a map search but nothing came up for it. Pat [suffolk]
